Quick Nozzle Replacement Design
The magnetic block on the A1 Mini hot end heating component can quickly and accurately fix the nozzle to the installation position, making disassembly and installation of the nozzle easy and convenient.
*Before replacement, please ensure that the hot end has cooled down and avoid touching the heating block at the bottom of the hot end to prevent burns.

Comparison of different sizes of nozzles

0.4mm nozzle is the standard nozzle diameter for modern 3D printers, which effectively balances printing quality and printing speed. The Bambu A1 series 3D printer adopts a 0.4mm nozzle size. The 0.2mm nozzle can squeeze out smaller diameter consumables, giving the printing model a high-resolution horizontal printing surface. The larger the nozzle size, the more consumables it extrudes per second, and the faster the printing speed. Compared to 0.2mm nozzles, printing with 0.6mm and 0.8mm nozzles can achieve faster printing speed.

Kind reminder: Do not use the 0.2mm nozzle to print filaments containing carbon fiber, glass fiber, metal or other inorganic particles, as it may cause blockage. PLA-CF, PETG-CF, Nylon-CF filaments have been tested multiple times and can be printed using a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle, which is not easily clogged and has good printing quality. It is recommended to use a 0.6mm hardened steel nozzle to print other consumables containing carbon or glass fibers, minimizing the risk of clogging and wear.
