Textured PEI Plate

Excellent First-layer Adhesion and Improved Durability
After optimizing the manufacturing process of the Bambu Texture PEI Plate, the durability of the plate is enhanced. Additionally, the adhesion between the prints and the plate is significantly improved, eliminating the need for adhesives.*In some situations, glue is required for very specific filaments

Self-release when Cooled Down
PEI is an excellent material for 3D printing applications due to its ability to withstand the repeated heating and cooling cycles of a printer heatbed. Prints come off easily when the temperature of the heatbed reaches room temperature, and we always recommend waiting until it reaches 35℃ or lower. If the print is still adheres to the plate, simply bend the steel plate and the model will fall right into your hands.
Compatible with Various Filaments
PEI enables printing not only with common materials such as PLA, TPU, PETG, but also with materials that require high temperatures like ABS and Nylon.
Reliable Magnetic Adhesion to Prevent Warping
The Bambu Texture PEI Plate features a 0.5mm-thick stainless steel plate that enhanced magnetic adhesion. This helps to prevent warping and ensure optimal print quality during 3D printing, reducing the likelihood of the first layer detaching due to deformation. It also helps when printing larger models with materials that are prone to warping like ABS, PC and Nylon.

Textured Surface Finish
Bambu Texture PEI Plate offers a one-of-a-kind first-layer surface. Through the application of a powder-coating process, this PEI Build Plate creates a rugged texture that adds a texture to your prints.
Considerations
Increasing heatbed temperature enhances adhesion. Users need to adjust the temperature of the heatbed based on their specific requirements in order to achieve the most suitable level of adhesion.
Before auto-leveling, it is necessary to repeatedly rub the nozzle in the special wiping area of the build plate to completely remove any residual material at the tip of the nozzle. The coating in the special-designed wiping area will gradually become worn over time. This is normal and does not affect print quality or nozzle lifetime, so there is no need to worry about any quality issues.
Deposition of dust and grease on the build plate decrease adhesion. It is recommended to regularly clean the surface with detergent and water to to maintain best adhesion.
Bambu Lab recommends only using Bambu Lab official glue on the Bambu Lab build plates, and can not be held responsible for any damage caused to plates as a result of using third-party glue on build plates. Do not clean the Textured PEI with Acetone, as it will damage the PEI surface.
Always wait for a few minutes before removing printed models to allow the plate to cool down for easy print removal. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures a long lifetime of the product.
Carefully sanding the surface with fine-grit (600 was recommended) sandpaper can help restore adhesion.
The latest firmware brings significant improvements to the Bambu Textured PEI Plate calibration using the Micro Lidar, and it is now fully compatible with the automatic calibration process.
The Textured PEI plate is considered a consumable part, which will degrade over time. The warranty will only cover manufacturing defects, not cosmetic damage like scratches, dents, or cracks. Defective sheets upon arrival are the only ones covered by the warranty.

Smooth PEI Plate
High Z-axis Precision Printing
The use of a Smooth PEI Plate contributes to improved Z-axis precision during the printing process, ensuring greater accuracy and consistency in the vertical dimension. These qualities make the Smooth PEI Plate an excellent choice for printing parts that demand a high level of fit accuracy, where precise alignment and tight tolerances are crucial.
Smooth and Matte Surface Finish
The use of a specially selected matte PEI sheet can impart a smooth and matte texture to the bottom surface of the printed object, enhancing its overall appearance.

Compatible with Various Filaments
PEI enables printing not only with common materials such as PLA, TPU, PETG, but also with materials that require high temperatures like ABS and Nylon.
Note: Please apply glue to prevent the sheet from tearing if printing with filaments other than PLA.
Reliable Magnetic Adhesion to Prevent Warping
The Bambu Smooth PEI Plate features a 0.5mm-thick spring steel plate that enhances magnetic adhesion. This helps to prevent warping and ensure optimal print quality during 3D printing. It also helps when printing larger models with materials that are prone to warping such as ABS, PC, and Nylon.
Note: The Smooth PEI Sheet cannot be peeled off from the build plates.
Considerations
If bubbles appear on the bottom of the sheet, heating it on the heatbed at a temperature of no less than 80 degrees for several hours can be helpful in eliminating the bubbles.
Deposition of dust and grease on the build plate decrease adhesion. It is recommended to regularly clean the surface with detergent and water to to maintain best adhesion.
Do not clean the Smooth PEI with Acetone, as it will damage the PEI surface.
Always wait for a few minutes before removing printed models to allow the plate to cool down for easy print removal. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures a long lifetime of the product.
Carefully sanding the surface with fine-grit (600 was recommended) sandpaper can help restore adhesion.

Bambu Engineering Plate
One Build Plate for All Filament
With a simple layer of glue, the Engineering Plate is compatible with our entire filament lineup, it's the perfect go-to solution when you're not sure which plate to use.

Durable Smooth Surface Coating
The refreshed coating significantly improves the plate's temperature, scratch, and corrosion resistance. Built to withstand prolonged high-temperature printing and hundreds of washes and peels, its smooth, dependable surface guarantees stable adhesion every single time.
Smooth & Natural Surface Finish
The smooth base coating can impart a smooth & flat texture to the bottom surface of the printed object, better blend-in with other surfaces.
Considerations
1. Before printing with any filament, it is recommended to apply glue on the Engineering Plate. Applying solid glue can make part removal easier, but since solid glue has a certain thickness and is difficult to apply evenly, the printing stability and first-layer quality are usually not as good as when using liquid glue. On the other hand, liquid glue may make part removal more difficult. You should choose the appropriate glue type based on the filament, printing environment, and other practical conditions. 2. When using a scraper to remove prints, make sure to use the correct technique. If the model adheres too tightly to the build plate, apply alcohol to the interface between the model and the plate to reduce adhesion and make removal easier. This helps prevent damage to the model, the build plate, or potential injury to the user caused by excessive force.
3. Increasing heatbed temperature enhances adhesion. Users need to adjust the temperature of the heatbed based on their specific requirements in order to achieve the most suitable level of adhesion.
4. Before auto-leveling, it is necessary to repeatedly rub the nozzle in the special wiping area of the build plate to completely remove any residual material at the tip of the nozzle.
