X-Plus4 connection method (single box connection)
This page provides the connection method for a single QIDI BOX on X-Plus4
When wiring, it is recommended to power off the QIDI BOX and printer before proceeding with the operation.
Change USB port.
Install BOX Hub on the X-Plus4 backplane.
Connect QIDI BOX signal line.
Connect the BOX Hub signal line.
Connect the power cord.
Power on after confirming the correct connection.
When printing with PLA or PETG, we recommend placing the QIDI BOX beside the printer and keeping the printer’s top cover open for proper ventilation.
If the enclosure remains closed, the internal chamber temperature may become too high, potentially softening the filament and causing printing issues such as feeding problems or poor extrusion.
Notice:
The Plus4 BOX hub data cable is different from the Q2 BOX / MAX4 BOX data cable.
Do not mix or interchange them.
