4 in 1 PTFE Filament Cleaning Pad Replacement Guide
This article will provide you with a detailed guide on replacing the cleaning pad of the four-in-one PTFE tube adapter.
The cleaning pad for the filament line is installed at the outlet end of the four-in-one PTFE adapter. Its main function is to block the debris on the filament outlet on one side of the filament cleaning pad to prevent the debris from entering the toolhead and causing blockage or abnormal wireless communication.
When to Use This Guide
When the cleaning pad of the 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter shows obvious wear.
Required Tools and materials
tweezers
Remove the old cleaning pad from the 4-1 PTFE Adapter.
Using a set of tweezers, gently hold the cleaning pad and pull it out.
If the adapter blade is dirty but shows no visible signs of wear, such as tears or damage, clean it with a non-woven cloth and alcohol, then reinstall it.
Install the new cleaning pad.
As shown below, press the cleaning pad down with the small tab facing the outlet port of the 4-in-1 PTFE adapter. Insert it fully until it sits flush with the adapter body.
Verifying Functionality
Insert a piece of filament through any port of the 4-in-1 PTFE adapter. If the filament feeds smoothly without jamming or blockage, the cleaning pad has been installed correctly.
