More Reliable Stability: Nylon filament is more reliable and easier to print with low moisture absorption and good adhesion to substrates. It has lower moisture absorption and longer shelf life, and a much lower melting temperature (185°C) than conventional nylon consumables.
Excellent Mechanical Properties and Heat Resistance: Nylon Filament 1.75 mm Black is an indispensable structural material with high heat resistance and good impact resistance. 3D printed Nylon Black is suitable for producing durable parts with glossy surfaces and high resistance to fracture.
Printing Setting
- Nozzle: 280-300℃, hardened steel nozzle required;
- Bed Temp: 25-50℃ (Do NOT exceed 50℃);
- Speed: 30mm/s – 60mm/s;
- Fan: off
- Drying Settings: 80℃ for 12h
- Annealing: 70℃ for 2h (To ensure a good heat resistance of your printed part it is recommended to anneal your print model);
- Bed Surface: almost any surface with a thin coat of PVA glue or Magigoo PA. The warping will be effectively suppressed.
Notes:
-Abrasion of the brass nozzle happens quite often when printing Nylon PA6. A wear-resistant nozzle, such as hardened steel and ruby nozzle, is highly recommended to be used with our Nylon PA6 filament.
- Nylon PA6 filament is sensitive to moisture and should always be stored and used under dry conditions (relative humidity below 20%).
- If Nylon PA6 is used as the support material for itself, please remove the
support structure before excessive moisture absorption. Otherwise the support
structure can be permanently bonded to the model.
- After the printing process, it is recommended to anneal the model in the oven at 80°C for 6 hours.
