Work with 2.85mm filament and the FlexFeed system
Soft TPU has always been slow to print. The softer the filament, the more it bends and buckles before it reaches the nozzle—so traditional extruders have to crawl to stay reliable.
FlexFeed handles both 1.75mm and 2.85mm filament, switching on the fly. And with our dedicated 2.85mm TPU, the thicker filament stays rigid under pressure, melts in greater volume, and pushes through with far more force.
The result: TPU as soft as 75A, printed reliably at up to 3× the flow rate of a traditional printer.
Filament Compatibility
Note:
PLA Silk Dual Color is prone to flipping during multi-color printing, which can cause color bleeding in the model. Please avoid using it for multi-color prints.
The 2.85 mm hotend can only print 2.85 mm flexible filaments. Bambu Studio currently provides only two presets: Bambu TPU 75A (2.85 mm) and Generic TPU (2.85 mm).
