Chamber Heater for Bambu Lab P1P, P1S, X1C
The chamber heater offers an additional chamber temperature heating control feature, with a max chamber temperature of 65℃. Higher chamber temperatures can reduce warping when printing high-temperature filaments and improve interlayer adhesion. Additionally, when printing with these high-temperature filaments, using the chamber heater can improve the print strength, particularly interlayer strength. For filaments such as PC, PA-CF, PAHT-CF, PET-CF, PPA-CF, PPS, and PPS-CF, setting the chamber temperature to 60°C can enhance dimensional accuracy and visual quality.
Warning: It is strongly recommended not to enable high chamber temperature when printing PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA and other low-temperature filaments. Enabling high chamber temperature may cause these filaments to soften and become lodged in the extruder, resulting in clogging issues.
Recommended chamber temp for various filaments
- Chamber temp for PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, PLA's supports and other low-temperature filaments: off / 0 °C.
- Chamber temp for ASA, ABS: off / 0 ℃
- Chamber temp for PC, PA, PA-CF, PAHT-CF, PA6-CF, PET-CF, PPA-CF, PPA-GF, PPS, PPS-CF and other high-temperature filaments: 60 ℃
Specifications:
Maximum temperature: 65°C
Size: 17x18cm
How to Install the heater chamber for your 3D printer?
1. when assemble the heater, move the bed lowest, and install the heater on the right side of the printer
2. connect two wires of the chamber heater to the printer's power, to the AC L, and AC N.

Function description
P0: refrigeration or heating mode
P1: return difference setting
P2: maximum temperature setting upper limit
P3: minimum temperature setting lower limit
P4: temperature correction
P5: delay start time (unit: minute)

Method of Use:
At this time, the display is displayed as measuring temperature. Press the SET key once and the display temperature flashes. Press +- to SET the required temperature (+- can quickly rise and fall) After the setting is complete, press Set to confirm and return. The output of the thermostat is 20A relay, which can meet various high-power loads. If the control circuit is well connected, it can supply power to the thermostat. At this time, the display screen displays the ambient temperature.
Indicator and nixie tube status description
Indicator: Blinking indicates delay in starting cooling or heating. Steady on indicates that the relay is closed
Digital tube: display LL for the sensor open circuit, please connect the sensor according to the instructions; If HH is out of the measuring range, the thermostat will disconnect the relay forcibly. Display -- high temperature alarm
Parameter Function Description
Long press SET for 5 seconds to enter the main menu setting, press +- to switch to P0... P6, long press SET or 10 seconds no key action controller automatically confirm return.
P0 cooling and heating mode:
Long press SET for 5 seconds to display P0, press SET once to SET the working mode, press +- to switch [H for heating mode] [C for cooling mode], press SET once to return, long press Set or 10 seconds without key action the controller will automatically confirm completion.
Refrigeration mode: when the temperature measurement value is greater than or equal to the temperature setting point, the refrigeration relay draws, and the refrigerator starts; When the temperature measurement value is less than the temperature setting point-return difference, the refrigeration relay is disconnected and the refrigerator is closed.
Heating mode: When the temperature measurement value is less than the temperature setting point, the heating relay draws and the heater starts; When the temperature measurement value is greater than or equal to the temperature setting point + return difference, the heating relay is disconnected and the heater is closed.
P1 back error setting:
Press +- to switch to P1. Press SET once to SET the return difference value. Press +- to SET the return difference value to 0.1-15.
Refrigeration mode: when the temperature measurement value is greater than or equal to the set value, the relay suction, the refrigerator starts; When the temperature measurement value is less than the set value - return value, the relay is disconnected and the cooler is closed.
For example, when the environment is 30℃, the set value is 25℃, and the return difference is 2℃. After power on, the closed refrigerator of the relay starts. When the refrigeration reaches 23℃, the refrigerator of the relay will be disconnected and shut down.
Heating mode: when the temperature measurement value ≤ set value, relay suction, heater start; When the temperature measurement value is not less than the set value + return value, the relay is disconnected and the heater is closed.
For example, when the environment is 10℃, the set value is 25℃, and the return difference is 2℃. After power-up, the closed heater of the relay will start. When the heater is heated to 27℃, the relay will disconnect and the heater will close.
P2 Set the upper limit for the maximum temperature:
In order to avoid the danger of oversetting the temperature due to misoperation by others, the thermostat has the maximum setting upper limit function, which limits the setting range of the maximum temperature setting point controlled by the thermostat.
Press +- to switch to P2. Press SET once to SET the maximum limit. Press +- to SET the maximum temperature that can be SET.
For example, if the temperature setting point is set to 60, the maximum temperature setting point can only be set to 60 ° C. To expand the temperature range, you need to adjust the upper limit first.
P3 Setting the Lower limit for the lowest temperature:
In order to avoid the ice jam caused by the misoperation of others, the thermostat has the function of setting the minimum upper limit and lower limit, which limits the setting range of the setting point of the lowest temperature controlled by the thermostat.
Press +- to switch to P3. Press SET once to SET the lowest limit. Press +- to SET the lowest temperature that can be SET.
For example, if the temperature setting point is set to 2, the minimum temperature setting point can be set to 2 ° C. To expand the temperature range, you need to adjust the lower limit first.
P4 Temperature correction:
When there is deviation between the measured temperature and the standard temperature or due to the special needs of the user's hardware, this function can be used to correct the temperature after correction = the temperature before correction + the effective range of correction is -7.0~7.0.
Press +- to switch to P4. Press SET once for correction. Press +- to SET the correction value. Press SET once to return after completion.
For example, the normal value is 25 degrees. Display 25 degrees when the temperature correction is 0; Display 26.5 degrees when the temperature correction is 1.5; Display 23.5 when temperature correction is -1.5.
P5 Delayed start time (unit: minute):
When the refrigerator or heater has a delay function, the delay function can be enabled to protect the service life of the equipment.
Press +- to switch to P5. Press SET once to SET the delayed start time unit as minutes. Press +- to SET 0-10 minutes
Cooling mode: When the first power is on, if the current temperature is greater than or equal to the set value, the cooler will not start cooling immediately. It needs to start after running the set delay time.
Heating mode: For the first time, if the current temperature is less than the set value, the heater will not start heating immediately, and it needs to run the set delay time to start.
When the downtime between two adjacent starts of the chiller or heater is greater than the set value of the delayed start time, the chiller starts immediately.
When the stop interval between two adjacent starts of the cooler or heater is less than the set value of the delayed start time, the equipment can be started only after the refrigeration delay start time is completed. The delay time is calculated from the moment of shutdown.
For example, in the refrigeration state, the delay is set to 5 minutes, and the chiller starts the delay after the machine is turned on. When the chiller starts up after 5 minutes, the chiller stops when the required temperature is reached, and the timing starts at this time. When the next chiller starts the timing, it will work immediately.
If delay start is set to 0, the delay function is disabled.
How to Save Settings:
To save the set data, set P7 to ON when the power is on after setting the temperature. In this way, the last setting will be kept when the power is off.
factory data reset
Due to some human reasons, the internal Settings of the thermostat are confused, and it takes a lot of time to set one item by one. At this time, this function can be used to restore factory Settings. The specific method is: in the shutdown state, press and hold the + and - buttons at the same time, and then start up, and all the above parameters will be restored to factory Settings.
